These are divine! My mother fell in love with them in Belgium years ago. I am so happy to find a source for them here--they hhave become my "go to" gift for her birthday/Mother's Day, etc.

This was my first time with Leonidas chocolates. I love the texture, flavor, taste, everything. I would certainly recommend them to my friends.

These chocolates are the ones I first tasted in Brussels, Belgium. The smooth creamy taste of rich praline centers and rich Belgian chocolate is one of my favorite memories from my travels in Europe. These chocolates are made with fresh butter and fresh cream. The dark chocolate contains a minimum of 54% cocoa and is made from cocoa paste, sugar, and cocoa butter.
Leonidas has over 1700 stores and sales locations worldwide and they offer over 80 varieties of fresh chocolates. The chocolates are air freighted weekly from Brussels so you will always find the quality to be superior.
My chocolates arrived fast and were as fresh as if I had purchased them in Belgium. They were carefully packaged in the famous boxes with signature wrapping and a ribbon. The boxes were then placed in protective Styrofoam containers to protect the chocolates during shipping.
I prefer to savor these chocolates at room temperature after removing one or two from the refrigerator (best to keep them fresh because of the fresh cream). In this way you bite through the firm outer shell and happen upon the creamiest filling imaginable. If there is a better chocolate, I haven't tasted it. Such perfection! These are chocolates you must eat slowly, letting them melt in your mouth as the superior richness fills your mouth with chocolate bliss.
While I am in love with the quality of Leonidas' chocolates, the customer service and shipping speed is equally impressive. The expedited shipping is recommended from May to early September.

I love chocolate and prefer Belgian or Swiss to other types. However, this didn't measure up. The packaging was beautiful. But after opening the package, the first thing I noticed was the chocolate was oxidized. Who knows how they have been sitting around.
The chocolates themselves weren't much better than Hershey's. I would compare them the Pot of Gold boxes that Hershey puts out around Christmas. Maybe slightly better, but not for the price.
