This 2 year extended warranty is overpriced. It is more so a one year extended warranty. But after reading reviews about the Kindle (2nd generation) I felt it was best to get this overpriced warranty.

I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE RESPONSE TO MY ORDER. I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE THE ORDER WOULD SHIP FROM STOCK WITHIN 1 TO 2 DAYS. IT DID NOT HAPPEN AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE "KINDLE". THE ORDER WAS PLACED NEARLY FIVE WEEKS AGO. I RECIEVED THE 2 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY A MONTH AGO. THE WARRANTY CLOCK IS RUNNING ON AN ITEM THAT HAS NOT YET BEEN SHIPPED. TWO WEEKS AGO I RECIEVED THE PROTECTIVE CASE FOR THE "KINDLE". i AM STILL WAITING FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE ITEM TO BE PROTECTED. I DO NOT NEED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY OR A PROTECTIVE CASE FOR AN ITEM I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED. IF YOU DO NOT SHIP THE "KINDLE" IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO, SEND ME A PREPAID SHIPPING LABEL FOR THE RETURN OF THE UNNEEDED ITEMS ALREADY SHIPPED.

i think its wise to get this warranty....you never know! its a thin and small prodcut some one or thing can over look it and step on it or sit on it...
